1978. She made her recording debut as a
pianist, playing on one track, "The Final Rhino", on
Adrian Belew's
The Lone Rhino (
1982). Some cried "
nepotism", but her subsequent work, singing on "Oh Daddy" (from Adrian's
Mr. Music Head,
1989), surely put an end to all those nasty accusations.
She works now as a sysadmin, IIRC. Pop music has lost a Great One, but the world has gained one more in the ranks of unix.women.
