A minor character in the manga "Appleseed" by Masamune Shirow. She is one of a new generation of bioroids, or artificial humanoids, who combine human and animal characteristics, both physically and mentally. Unlike most bioroids, these are capable of reproduction; Artemis has a few children (or kittens; it's not clear which word is more fitting) who are very silly and cute.
