Armagh Observatory was set up by Archbishop Richard Robinson in 1791 in the city of Armagh in Northern Ireland. 200 years on and it's still going strong, with researchers working on the Sun, Stars, the Weather... and particularly minor planets. Armagh is the leading centre in the UK for research into the Impact hazard.
