Anti-Contamination clothing. Worn upon initial entry into a High Radiation Area, or other Radiologically Controlled Area, such as a Controlled Surface Contamination Area.

Anti-C's are yellow and marked with the radiation symbol (a three bladed magenta trifoil). They consist of a fabric coverall, plastic booties and overshoes, orange rubber gloves, and a fabric hood. The coveralls are entered via a large neck opening, which is cinched with a drawstring.

The amount of anti-contamination clothing worn is proportional to the contamination levels expected. Gloves only may be worn, or a doubled set of complete anti-c's could be required, including filtered or forced air supply breathing protection.
