In times of need common chalk can be used as an antacid. It will neutralize the acid in your stomach. School chalk is CaCO2 or Calcium Carbonate which is the main ingredient used in antacid.

decreased hyperacidity in peptic ulcer disease, reflux esophagitis, gastritis, hiatal hernia

magnesium: renal insufficiency, pregnancy, lactation
