1998 true crime book written by Aphrodite Jones about the murder of Brandon Teena.

While it gave a rather straightforward account of the events in Teena's childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, and murder, the book came under fire from transgender activists. The title was seen as slighting Teena's chosen gender, but Jones claimed it was taken from the Ace of Base song All That She Wants, which was popular at the time of the murder and was a song Brandon Teena particularly enjoyed. The book also received criticism from those who claimed many of the events never happened or took place in a manner wildly different from that described, but nothing ever came from the claims.

All She Wanted became the basis for the movie Boys Don't Cry, starring Hilary Swank, which was quite different from the book itself. The author said that the film "...does a fabulous job of re-telling Brandon's story, and I highly recommend it, although I must note that a number of important facts have been changed."
