For those of you outside Australia, this song describes a subculture of teenagers, the majority of whom (but by no means all) are of Italian or Greek descent and dress in clothing they see in the American gang movies, complete with excessive gold jewelry and "street" vernacular.

Amusingly, these folk are almost always white, middle class and financially blessed.

Similar sentiments to The Offspring's "Pretty fly (For A White Guy)", although perhaps more succinct and with TISM's unmistakable stamp.
