Al-Fatiha is an international support organization for
lesbian,
gay,
bisexual and
transgendered Muslims. The group was founded in
1997 by
Faisal Alam as a
listserv, but has since grown to encompass a number of discussion groups, an annual
retreat and several local
chapters.
