Years ago Akay was highly active as a more conventional graffiti artist, writing tags, bombing and doing other stuff related to the spraycans. Between 1985 and 1997 he was a member of bombing and grafitti-crew VIM, which he also participated in starting.
His real-life -- so to say -- profession is said to be that of a photographer.
