To adrenalize is to stir up, excite, spur to action, as, I suppose, might happen when one hears a Def Leppard album, especially one called by this very name. (I, for example, would be spurred to turn it off, but that's just me. Others may react differently.) The word derives from Latin word for kidney; the adrenal glands, just above the kidneys, excrete hormones when someone is excited.
