1882 - 1956, English playwright and author of the Winnie-the-Pooh children's stories. The A.A. is Alan Alexander. Served in World War I in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He married Dorothy "Daphne" de Selincourt, who bare him Christopher Robin.
