Venice Film Festival. The film relates the life of
Canada's most
renowned classical musician of the
20th century,
Glenn Gould. As the title suggests, the story of
Glenn Gould's life
unfolds in a
series of short films that are anywhere from
mini-documentaries, to
abstract animations based on the
pianist's music.
This film
inspired an episode of the
Simpsons entitled "
22 Short Films About Springfield" (Simpsons-E3F18)
