An hour-long televison series on TNN, laughable and a guilty pleasure. Chance Bowman, played by male model Lucky Vanous, is a federal marshall in the witness protection program after crime boss Jacob Calder, played by G. Gordon Liddy, is put in jail because of Bowman's testimony. Bowman takes to America's highways in the Kenworth T-2000 -- "the world's most technologically advanced 18-wheeler", in the words of the opening narration. The episodes alternate between light-hearted life lessons given by mysterious strangers, and a ridiculous good-versus-evil battle between Bowman and Calder. The series is in hiatus right now, which is a shame; I took an inordinate pleasure in watching it. Worth seeking out for the title alone.
