Breath of Fire III is (obviously) the third in the Breath of Fire series. In this one, you play as Ryu, a member of the Brood.

The plot of this game is at times amusingly simple. For the first half of the game (after a bit of aimless wandering), you're trying to get to a certain location, fairly far away. For the second half of the game, you're trying to get to a certain location, even further away. And, because the world hates you, all the usual pathways are blocked, so you have to take the longer way around. This happens a lot. Also, the main path usually gets cleared right after you go the horrifyingly-long dungeon route.

Magic Pengel is an... interesting game. It's like a monster raising game, except without any of the raising part. It's like a monster collecting game except without any of the collecting. It's still a really good game. See, you start the game off with two part palettes, four colors, a single brush, and a small amount of lines.
Yes, you get to draw them. It does get a bit tricky because you are drawing 2D shapes that then get 3D-ized in various ways, depending on how you align them and which brush you use.
.hack//INFECTION is the first part of a four-part game series, from Bandai. In the game, you play as Kite, a character in the online game 'The World'. Note that you do not actually play online.

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR STUFF THAT HAPPENS IN THE FIRST FIFTEEN MINUTES OF GAMEPLAY!

The game takes place in the future, where over twenty million people play 'The World'. Kite's friend Yasuhiko invites him to play, and so Kite logs on and creates a character. Once logged on to 'The World', Kite is greeted by Yasuhiko's alter-ego: Orca of the Azure Sea, a famous warrior. Orca takes you on a short tour of a low-level area, so you know what to do. They live mostly in Lumina and the Ulkan Mines. They are important in a few quests, mostly the ones involving Roger's cult (The Diggers) or Lumina (everyone who has played the game remembers the lamp-selling quest).

Dudbears make up the majority of the Diggers. In fact, they make up all of the members, with the exception of Roger himself (and Roger's pet dog, Putty).

Dudbears who are not members of the Diggers live in Lumina, and...do stuff there. It's not really explained. They like lamps, though!

As mentioned above, there is a lamp-selling quest, where you have to sell lamps to Dudbears. Below is a listing of all the words you learn (Basic Dudbear), while on that quest.

I have often described Jade Cocoon to people as 'Pokémon, except it doesn't have a terrible anime to go with it'. There are 161 cardinal minions you can capture. From those 161, you can merge them together to get hybrid monsters. For example, if you merge a wasp-type monster with a snake-type, you'll get an elongated wasp-type with the snakes's skin on it. This gets complicated when you then merge your wasp/snake hybrid with, say, a spider/bat hybrid. From there, of course, you could merge that wasp/snake/spider/bat with yet another type of minion... That's the main point to this game, just getting lots of monsters and then merging them together to get one that looks cool and kills things.
