Applied Science never grew in <a href="/title/popularity">popularity</a> <a href="/title/beyond">beyond</a> the North Western counties of Washington State. But they were a <a href="/title/cool">cool</a> band, and <a href="/title/LP">LP</a>s of&their music are still floating around. They even made a bunch of <a href="/title/videos">videos</a>, one of which aired on <a href="/title/MTV">MTV</a>. Their sound is mix of <a href="/title/Devo">Devo</a>, <a href="/title/Talking+Heads">Talking Heads</a>, and <a href="/title/Thomas+Dolby">Thomas Dolby</a>, with their own rough <a href="/title/flare">flare</a>, of course.</p>
