Forget about my XP - my most difficult spiritual quest. Step one was moving the Epicenter nodelet to the bottom of the screen.
Remember my personal vision of E2 - I think it's a database of easily-located useful information.
Choose my nodes' titles carefully - to preserve the "easily-located" element.
Don't link long sentences - it creates meaningless nodeshells.
Link to anything I deem useful (in the context of the writeup) - regardless of whether it's in the database. Nodeshells are invitations to node.
Vote purely on the strength/relevance of the writeup - E2 is no place for grudges.
Never node poetry - until I'm a goddamn poet.
Never node personal data for its own sake - nobody cares what I eat for breakfast.
Link well - pipe linking is my best friend.
Maintain an ongoing love affair with factual nodes - factual nodes are the reason Everything is not a BBS.
Link for content, AND for emphasis.
Do my research - my memory is not perfect.
/msg Newbies before downvoting - some of us were not so fortunate to have learned Everything before the advent of XP.
Visit Node Heaven frequently - for humility.
Only provide Day Logs for meaningful days
Be succinct.
Quell my fascist intolerance of bad grammar and incorrect spelling.
Do my part to keep E2 from becoming a personality cult.
Submit self-identified shitty nodes to E2 Nuke Request - frequent review is the key.
REMEMBER THAT I DO NOT SPEAK FOR EVERYONE.
