A rather nice
ale which is found in many
Irish pubs. Its not a
stout like
guiness, and is probably closer to an
English bitter. It does take about 3 minutes to
settle though. When it has just been poured it is
creamy all the way through but if left for 3 minutes it will form two distinct layers, a lower golden layer and an upper creamy
head about 1 cm high. It is a
crime to drink it before it has settled.
