A weapon used by House Atreides and later by the Fremen in battle against House Harkonnen. Weirding modules take certain sounds, called 'killing words', and turn them into blasts of energy which can blow up rocks, burst organs or just plain kill people. Muad'dib's name became a killing word for the Fremen.
