I scribble down random words, struggling to form a decent, worthwhile line of thought. I search within me forcibly, for a glimpse of uniqueness within this dull cluster of common, wasted images. I desire the words that bring tears to veiled eyes, cause emotion to cross an indifferent face, or bring pure smiles of triumph to hopeless lips. The powerful words that tear individually at the inner core of our minds, sifting through our thoughts and feelings and ripping them apart in violent surges of passion until all walls have been torn down, leaving only truth.
I find nothing.
The torment within my head continues, never giving me peace. The pictures never stop, the screaming never ceases, the longing never ends. My hand shakes as the ink splashes upon this paper, but I search, forgetting the reasons, only knowing the need. |
