A string bikini is a swimsuit like a regular bikini, but a string has replaced all the fabric except where absolutely neccessary. So the top consists of two triangles, held up by string, and the bottom has string around the waistband, so it ties on both sides at the waist. It covers the essentials but no more. Often considered sexier than a traditional bikini, but impractical unless you are a 17-year-old surfer girl (or alternatively one of Charlie's Angels.) |
