An item of clothing I saw advertised in a catalog (it might have been "Newport News"). Apparently a variation on the skort, it was basically a pair of long pants with a crotch-length skirt attached at the waist. The large pockets on the skirt section might be handy, but I thought it looked a bit silly. And as the amount of skin covered in this thing is not at all scant, the choice of name is a bit unfortunate.
