New television show on Global, which is basically a rip off of Making the Band, only with girls and in Canada. The gist of the show is a panel of judges travel to four major cities in Canada, and do cold auditions with thousands of girls. The panel is made up of some scouts and execs from Universal, and a radio D.J. from the station that sponsors the whole contest, KISS 92FM. Their goal is to pick the five best and brightest to make up Canada's newest pop sensation, which will be signed to the Universal label.

The show airs Sunday at 7pm. It's really fun to watch all these pretty young things get rejected, and go home crying.

Update: The band formed is now called SugarJones, and the members are Julie, Maiko, Sahara, Mirella, and Andrea.
