It rained today. Actually it was an
electrical storm
. But I didn't have to work til 6 so I walked to the
closet
and put on my old sweatshirt. I love this
sweatshirt
. It has three extra
holes
in it, it's
paper thin
, covered in
pen
marks from studying,
paint
globs and
mustard
stains. It's now eight years old. I haven't marched in the
marching band
in seven years, but still my sweatshirt is never far from my side. I put it on, grabbed my book and headed for the
porch
. Man it is really pouring out! I curled up in my favorite chair, snuggled all warm and
cozy
in my favorite sweatshirt, opened my book and listened to the
thunder
roar and the
lightning
crack.
You've just gotta love days like these
