We can't deal with this nebulousness. Give us good or evil, white hats and black hats. If we're going to discuss racism, let's only talk about "black" and "white." Please don't introduce the topic of Asians or Hispanics or, God forbid, some group we haven't even heard of. And let's all agree that sexism is evil, but not talk about how it hurts men too. You have to believe in one religion or another--syncretism makes our heads hurt! Gay? Fine! Just don't be, you know, bisexual or something complicated like that. Yes, we like our ideas pre-packaged into neat little boxes. No muss, no fuss. (If we close our eyes and pray hard enough, maybe we can even get quantum mechanics to just go away!)
