| A finding that joins several strands of bead or wire. The strands attach to one end, usually a bar shaped piece with receiving holes. The other end other is the finishing clasp, which connects at the back of the piece and keeps the necklace or bracelet from falling off the wearer. Usually made of some type of metal, like brass, plated nickel, gold or silver.
