Mock (?), v. t. [imp. & p. p. Mocked (?); p. pr. & vb. n. Mocking.] [F. moquer, of uncertain origin; cf. OD. mocken to mumble, G. mucken, OSw. mucka.]

To imitate; to mimic; esp., to mimic in sport, contempt, or derision; to deride by mimicry.
