Loophole surfing is not necessarily harmful to the game, and is encouraged if it gives you a chance to get ahead, get more power, or somehow benefit yourself. However, it can be done in ways that just harm the game, and may even cause it to break completely. Often it's a result of badly-written rules being adopted, but it's often better when you find them to fix them. |
