The supposed "lie of omission" is the act of not telling all/any of the truth/facts you know. The premise is, that to be honest, you must tell "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth."

Honesty is not the best policy. It is the only policy.	Why do heterosexual noders tell us as much, when defending homosexuals?	This is a pleasant fiction, isn't it?
