There is no organized Liberaltarian movement. The closest would be the Democrats who voted for Ralph Nader out of disgust for the two party system.
I first came across this word after taking an online survey intended to pigeonhole me and tell me what candidate would be closest to my beliefs. It's useful to have a one-word description. Before, when someone wanted to know my political leanings, they would either assume I was a right wing gun nut or a tree hugging comsymp.
