The latest addition to the iMovie software package from Apple Computer. The newest, most powerful Macintoshes (well, as of this writing) are packaged with a DVD-R drive capable of recording digital video and photographs to disks that you can play on any DVD player; iDVD allows you to format video clips and photo slideshows with DVD menus and selection screens as well as place them in any order before burning them to a DVD-R disk, the same way that CD jukebox software tools allow you to organize your MP3 collection and burn them to CD-R disks.
