glitter trap

A practical joke played mainly in the office environment. Setting such a trap requires a hung ceiling made with lightweight acoustical tiles. To make a glitter trap, select the tile over the victim's chair. Loosen the tile so that it will fall out easily. Secure one side with tape so that the tile will function as a trap door. Carefully set the tile back into place with a pile of glitter on top, and prop it closed. Take a long piece of thread and attach one end to the prop. Attach the other end to the back of a desk drawer the victim is likely to open.

A Glitter Trap also refers to the reflections created by a pyramid of four mirrored balls. The pattern created is fractal in nature, and lends itself well to developing chaos theory concerning the movement of electrons.
