| Egalitarianism is the belief that all people either are or should be equal in some sense. There are many kinds of egalitarians.
Some believe simply that "all men are created equal" (or better yet, all people) ... but that equality ends there. Others add equality under the law. Still others believe in equality of opportunity. Finally, many socialists believe in equality of prosperity. |
