I have a friend (who shall remain nameless unless she reveals herself, herself) who once upon a time took a job at an all-night coffee house. She being the new girl (and obviously needing the money), she was placed on the graveyard shift. She also being enrolled full-time in college, this left precious little time for sleep. So she did what any smart, young, responsible person who has no problem doing lines would do: she scored some white powder. (No, not cocaine, although she has been known to indulge; the other white powder.) Between the coffee and our pal she was able to work and attend class just long enough to realize that most of her money earned from the coffee house was buying her uppers.
