Patriotism, in it's classical context of nationalism, is obsolete. The patriots of today pledge allegiance to the corporate culture. This culture crosses all geographical, religious, and racial borders. We are living under one world government, but the leaders of this government are not so stupid as to give it a name. Actually, they will do all they can to be hidden from the public view.
The only value left under this global society is power. Other values still exist, but they are specific to a certain region, or belief system, etc.
