It's not fair, really, to compare
I mean I have loved before, have felt that intensity-
that:

white hot, grab your chest when you're on the phone, stare into her eyes when she tosses a lock of hair out of her face, goosebumps when she touches your face...

yes, I know about that.
but, this is not the same.

Those other days, weeks, whatever.. they were like
a dozen roses, wrapped in green wax paper.. (pretty, briefly )
while you are a garden.
Alzalea, with dew in the morning, shaded Dogwoods, in the afternoon, Honeysuckle evenings, subtle, inviting.
..and that's just summer.

it's not really fair, so I don't, not anymore.

The act of comparing; an examination of two or more objects with the view of discovering the resemblances or differences; relative estimate.
