A phrase generally meaning "I have accepted this as my reality". One might come to terms with:
Please believe me on these things. I have personally had to come to terms with being a geek and being an introvert. Believe me, I fought both of these for a long time, because both things are "uncool" in our society. I think some of you out there know what I'm talking about.
Sidenote: I hate to open a can of worms, but the author Jon Katz wrote what I thought was a great book that addressed the issue of coming to terms with being a geek, called "Geeks". It talks about other stuff too (but that's another node)...
