International. It is called the "
checkerboard
approach" because the
ILS
leads the
aircraft
toward a building on the side of a mountain off the end of the
runway
, on the hill under the ILS shack there is a giant orange and white checkerboard painted on the concrete, when the aircraft passes the checkerboard it makes a right turn to land on Kai Tak's runway 13.
