The Beta function is defined as: 

         /1   x-1      y-1
B(x,y) = |   t    (1-t)    dt
         /0

for x,y > 0, and is related to the Gamma function by: 

          Gamma(x) Gamma(y)
B(x,y) =  -----------------
              Gamma(x+y)
