A beach burn is a little localized offshoot of the Burning Man festival. Known beach burns have occured in Maryland, San Francisco, Austin, Brooklyn, and other places. Typical of beach burns is the "no spectators" and "leave no trace" attitudes espoused at the Burning Man festival.
