alt.sex.stories.moderated (or ASSM as it is also known) is a moderated usenet newsgroup for posting stories of an erotic nature. It is the moderated version of alt.sex.stories and thus all of the spam and non sex story related posts are filtered out.
The group was once moderated by an individual called Eli the Bearded, but is now moderated by a group called the ASSTR (ASS Text Repository) which is a project of the Internet Free Literature Corporation.
The stories in the group are posted with various abbreviated codes in the subject line. These story codes were extremely varied, but would quickly tell the reader what they were getting into since the stories could range from romantic erotic poetry to incestuous snuff porn.
