acid wash jeans

created by arrowfall

(thing) by arrowfall (2.7 y) (print)   ?   (I like it!) Fri Apr 07 2000 at 2:33:07

A particularly satanic 80's fashion trend. These were jeans that were somehow unevenly bleached within an inch of their lives. The result was sharp patterns of dark jeans color(usually indigo but black, burgundy, green and other colors were also abused) and mercilessly washed out - almost white - denim.

I will admit - only under duress or behind the relative anonymity of my e2 handle - that i had several articles of acid wash clothing in grade school.

Either someone still makes this stuff or it lasts a long time, because I still see people wearing it!
