| It's a dream. And, in that dream, you are in an airport with friends. Friends who don't know you, yet. They keep telling you they will pick you when you get back, but you have to go away, first.
You stand in line for the $4 soda and the $3 bagel, but they are all out when you get there. You get some tomato juice and a bran muffin instead.
You keep hearing them call your flight, but they don't say what gate. When you look on the monitor it says:
STATUS: waiting on you.
You ask someone for the gate number and they point to a place in the terminal where there is no wall, just a hole and a rope ladder out to the plane. You get your boarding pass and start out on the ladder. You wake up. |
