It all started an
EE
grad student
dropped out of
UCSD
to start his own gaming site, originally called SpringerSpan (afer his
Springer Spaniel
). The name quickly changed to
ClassicGames.com
, and was eventually bought by
Yahoo!
. Well, perhaps "bought" is a little too strong, since it was a one person company to start with, but they did pay for all the games he currently had.
