A poem by H.P. Lovecraft, encompassing thirteen lines.
It contains a little hidden secret; it is in fact an acrostic of the classical Greek variety, meaning that the first letters of each line combine to form words. I strongly suggest you take another look at it if you've read it before; the acrostic really adds a nice double meaning to the poem. Should you not have read it, try to find it. Lovecraft is excellent, for the most part.
