Weekly Mail & Guardian

created by StrawberryFrog

(thing) by StrawberryFrog (11.7 hr) (print)   ?   (I like it!) Mon Aug 14 2000 at 12:25:24

A South African newspaper of note, which comes out on Fridays.

It is the only dead-tree newspaper that I read. As a weekly paper, it does not bring the latest news, but rather in-depth analysis of the week's events, and expose's that require investigative journalism.

The WM&G has beeh consistently critical of the government of the day throughout it's existence,i.e. to both National Party and ANC governments.

The online branch of the WM&G is The Daily Mail & Guardian.

The name always has an "&" not "and"
