Waterbury, Connecticut is absolutely the ugliest place on the face of the planet. I-84 provides a marvellous view as the overpass is the highest thing in the city. Between the abandoned industrial buildings that once gave this city a pulse, crumbling two story apartment houses blanket the city, packed close together so residents can share the perpetual pain of being in Waterbury. I do not believe that the sun shines here, but it could be that the industrial exhaust had blocked out the light.
