Warwick University is one of England's leading universities, situated just south of Coventry. It admitted its first students in 1965 and now, over 35 years later has a student population of over 15 thousand. The university is well known for its high quality science and technology research, and has one of the UK's leading Science Parks, which opened in 1984 on a site adjacent to the main campus.
