| Also referred to as barf bag or gag bag. Though usually reserved for airplanes, they are often available on trains, boats, and some people even bring along personal vomit bags for car rides. A vomit bag acts primarily as a containment device should anyone feel the urge to vomit due to motion sickness or any other cause.
Though perhaps unpleasant to most people, there are some who are avid "Vomit Bag Fans." I have, on occasion, kept the vomit bag from my seat on an airflight to take home and give to a friend. Amazingly enough, he truly appreciated the gesture and even wrote me a thankyou card for it. What can I say... some people are weird. |
