Virchow's node is a left supraclavicular lymph node. It is meant to be the node superficial to the point where the thoracic duct empties the lymphatic drainage of most of the lower body into the subclavian vein.

A hard palpable Virchow's node is a positive Troisier's sign, strongly suggestive of gastric cancer or other hidden malignancies.
