Victory Records was formed in 1989 by Tony Brummel, and the first release by them was a single by a Californian band by the name of Inner Strength. Since then, it has grown to releasing over 100 albums, and spanning two continents. A primarily hardcore label, Victory has taken in bands from numberous genres, including punk, ska, and rockabilly. Victory continus to support bands with creativity and energy, and views a bit "out-of-step" with the rest of the record industry. Victory has always been an independent label, and continues to be today, following their guideline of supporting artists' creative freedom.
